Drugs
Drugs are medicines used in treating illness. When people are ill, they go to their doctors for treatment. Doctors listen to the complaints their patients make. They note the complaints and prescribe the necessary medicines.
The medicines the doctor prescribes can be liquid or tablets. A liquid medicine can be a syrup or a lotion.
Medicines should be taken they way the doctor prescribes them. One should not take more than the quantity prescribed. One should also not take less. Again, one should not take other people’s medicines. When one is ill, one ought to see a doctor who will tell one what medicine to take.
It is not good to buy drugs from unauthorized places. One should get one’s drugs from the pharmacy. It is not advisable to make the use of drugs a habit. If drug taking becomes your habit, it will affect your health badly.
Any misuse of drugs is called drug abuse. It is a dangerous practice. Drugs also have their life spans. They do expire. Expired drugs should avoided.
